J. Michael Denton, PhD
J. Michael Denton, Ph.D. is a faculty member in the Higher Education and College Student Affairs degree program at the University of South Florida. He is also an affiliate faculty member of the Educational Measurement and Research department in the College of Education and the Women & Gender Studies program. His research focuses on intersections of HIV and chronic illness with sexual and gender identity, and the affective dimensions of queer identities. For several decades, he has been involved in developing or facilitating training and educational sessions about LGBTQIA identities, higher education equity and justice, and college student leadership.
